Kim P. Fichera has been working in the accounting profession for over 25 years. In 1979 he began as a staff accountant for a local CPA firm in Pasadena, California while completing courses in tax, accounting, business law, and economics as a graduate student at California State University, Los Angeles. After finishing his education in 1980 he
worked for a large regional CPA firm in San Diego. In addition to auditing large San Diego based businesses and hospitals, he prepared complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns for the firm's diverse client base. These clients frequently required extensive tax planning and research. In 1982 he became a licensed CPA in California.
Before starting his own practice in
1988, Kim worked as a tax manager for a large local firm in north San Diego County. This position provided him with extensive experience serving the needs of small businesses and individuals. Here he specialized in tax planning and return preparation for a wide range of clients. He prepared tax returns, financial statements, and provided sound business advice to a clientele of growing businesses and individuals with complex financial issues. Clients were impressed with his sincere interest in their needs, prompt personal response, and technical expertise.
